Where could be more perfect for meeting like minded people then the Perfect Street, yes its true check out Le Loft in Valencia.
Its a funny story and one that shows the most amazing ways that people can meet its true this is one of them. So when does this story start well that’s an easy one it started during lock down. March last year 2020 a year that most of us would like to forget but for me was the one that changed the way I looked at so much in my life.
I signed up for an instagram course with Kat Conroy https://instagrammakeover.com/. Every Saturday during lock down I would look forward to her next lesson the following week because you can only download it a lesson at a time. It was something to keep my mind active and I love learning there was that and a list of other things such as learning Spanish but thats another story altogether for another post along with reading more and exercise.
So on this course the community is amazing at helping and supporting the members by guiding them on their feeds their brand and everything to do with their instagram businesses. So I’m checking out all the feeds on Facebook and i see one from Experience Valencia. I loved the colors and how she had branded the feed so i wanted to let her know. I sent her a message through Facebook and commented on her posts. I had been to Valencia the year before over Easter and it was the first time I visited a city as a solo traveller and felt lonely which was strange because i am well used to travelling alone.
After arranging to go to Valencia at the start of October i decided to drop her a message at the end of September to see if she was interested in grabbing a coffee when i got there. She recommended a place called Artysana in Russafa which is by the way one of the coolest places to hang out in Valencia. So we met for a coffee and hit if off straight away we both had a similar background in the travel industry she also owed her own travel agency in Poland so we had lots to talk about.
Fast forward to February and we are sitting up on the terrace of her studio flat in Russafa in the strong winter sun enjoying the homemade carrot cake and coffee discussing how we could collaborate on an idea she had. The same week i get a Whatsapp message inviting me to go to a network event with her that a guy called Hugo is organizing. Obviously i responded immediately to say I was going, I was really excited my first network event in another city another country it was great.
So we found it after walking past the place and wow when Hugo opened the door and invited us in my jaw dropped this place is incredible absolutely amazing I’ve been in my fair share of 5* hotels and this was definitely on par. Comprising of 4 different accommodation options you have 2 separate apartments located upstairs one with a large terrace and then two ensuite rooms downstairs. The glass doors of one which is now mine for a month was incredible the bathroom actually has a bath and the bed looks that comfortable I wont want to leave it. Hugo explained the concept of co living and co working and i have to say i fell in love with the idea immediately so much so i told him on the spot that i wanted the room. Did you know that 60% of the time when we make a decision based on our gut that we don’t regret it when its immediate rather then pondering over it for hours or even days.
Co Living a community of like minded entrepreneurs and digital nomads where ideas flourish and you feel the connection the minute you walk though the doors. Wait to hear all about it im moving in on the 08th March.
