The Why!

Solo Holidays, Designed by a Solo Traveller – For Solo Travellers

With over 25 years of experience in the travel industry and more than a decade of solo travel under my belt, I truly understand the excitement and the nerves that come with setting off on your own. The fear of sitting alone at dinner, wondering who you’ll talk to, or what to do if your meal arrives and you need to dash to the bathroom (we’ve all wished for a little “Be right back don’t take my food!” sign)  these are real moments only solo travellers get.

Solo Travel was born from these personal experiences. I was tired of seeing “per person sharing” prices and being hit with unfair single supplements at checkout. That’s why we’re doing things differently.

Look for SP – the Solo Price. When you see this, you know you’re getting your own room, without the surprise fees or hidden supplements. No more paying extra just because you’re travelling independently.

Solo Travel is about freedom, connection, and value without compromise

“Quick travel tip from Andrea ✨ Before you travel, download Google Maps offline so you’ll never get lost as long as your phone is charged 😅

No Wi-Fi, no roaming, no panic walking in circles pretending you meant to go that way. It’s one of those small things that makes a big difference when you’re away. Save this for your next trip and thank us later!”

What a day the 1st day of a new adventure that is truly scaring me half to death but feck it, excitement nerves bring it on.

First day I killed a spider the other 2 were already dead and rehomed a snail that was getting to found of leaving shiny trails all over my new home. I sence there is much more to come

I wanna make this an incredible space that I'm proud to share just like I've done with my apartment in Valencia.

Stay tuned for updates as this adventure which is my life unfolds........ 😆

YES YES I robbed what you're about to read from ChatGPT I'm not gonna lie to you...I promise. Check it out it's quite interesting

"FRIENDAHOLIC" isn't a formal dictionary word, but it's often used informally or playfully to describe someone who is "addicted" to friends or extremely dependent on friendships.

It can mean:
Someone who needs constant social interaction and feels uncomfortable being alone.

A person who defines their self-worth through friendships or feels validated only when surrounded by friends.

Someone who goes out of their way to make or keep friends, sometimes to the point of neglecting themselves or their boundaries.

Being adopted I feel incredibly lucky to have hit the jackpot with my family. I wouldn't be where I am today without their unconditional love and support through everything in my life, there is so much more to share. I'm doing this as a way to document what goes through my mind but the majority of the time goes unsaid. I think it's so important now to let others know how much they mean to you. We are not mind readers let people know how much you love them, it will change your relationships and make them stronger.

Sailing from Malta to Gozo is more than just a ferry ride it’s part of the adventure. The journey starts at Ċirkewwa, where you board the Gozo Channel ferry and glide across the glittering Mediterranean in about 25 minutes. As the sea breeze hits your face, watch Malta fade into the distance while Gozo’s rugged cliffs and the Mġarr harbour church slowly come into view.

The best part? You don’t even pay to get on in Malta tickets are only collected on the way back. It’s a quick, scenic, and budget-friendly trip that sets the tone for exploring Gozo’s laid-back charm.

🚤 One of the best things we did in Malta was hop on a little boat across the Grand Harbour… and it only cost €2!

We went in mid-April, and the ride itself was fab the small, colorful boats give you the best views of Valletta from the water. 🌊

In just a few minutes we were in Birgu, one of Malta’s oldest and most charming towns.

We wandered the quiet streets, soaked up the history, and of course stopped for a coffee in the sunshine. ☕✨

Such a simple experience but honestly, one of the most enjoyable parts of the trip

✨ We stumbled across the Malta International Fireworks Festival 2024 without even knowing it was on and wow, what an experience!

Malta doesn’t just do fireworks in the sky… they have ground fireworks too. Imagine giant spinning wheels, colours, and light displays right on the streets it’s unlike anything we’ve ever seen before. 🇲🇹

The festival happens every year at the end of April, across Valletta, Gozo & Marsaxlokk, celebrating Malta’s amazing pyrotechnic tradition. If you’re planning a trip, this is one event you don’t want to miss! ✨

Would you try ground fireworks? 🔥👇
